But instead of getting educated about real issues, most Americans that are interested in politics seem obsessed with finding someone to hate. The mainstream media tells us that if we are Republicans that we are supposed to hate the Democrats and that if we are Democrats that we are supposed to hate the Republicans.
Thanks for posting that, CE. I believe this is all a "grand design." I know that sounds paranoid, but consider what has happened to divide us since 9/11. We were united like never before for awhile, but then everything went to hell in a handbasket. Talking heads on the telly are very influential. The more they divide us, the more money they make.
Someone said "I've been right and I've been paranoid. Paranoid is better!"
You know, its funny in a way. Of course, when I was younger, I never really thought there was anything wrong with television in general. Not really a lot on that I liked, but all in all I thought it was fairly harmless.
Over the years however I have come to view things differently and I honestly believe that out of all the inventions that we have in our homes, the television is the most damaging, most evil invention in our everyday existence.
As to being paranoid, lol, I've been called that before:)
The thing is that there are honestly very few people that I trust and normally it is something that is earned over time.
I quite instinctively do not trust politicians to begin with and though some of this distrust may be because of my life's events, much of it comes from simple observation of what IS, if that makes any sense.
Yes, there is a grand design put in play by the worst of humanity and this is not paranoia. I wish it were:(
