Is that why Rs fight against it? Or is it totally the money by insurance companies buying government?
The politicians of both parties seem to prefer that the general American citizenry live the majority of their lives in chaos and in a state of flux nowadays. It's been that way since Bush was given the presidency by the SCOTUS in 2000. If the health care you describe, dori, as being what your ex gets as a veteran, he has to be feeling pretty positive about his over-all experience with the VA. I'm sure it's similar to the kind of care our political servants get. Heck, if they're in Congress, they don't even have to get in a car to visit a medical professional. They find him or her right there in the Capitol Building! Your ex can concentrate on his health and hopefully, getting well. The AA (American Aristocrats) don't have to worry anyway, and our political servants are in that class, every one of them. Even the poorest of them is considered to be a rich person! Hard to believe that the same class of people actually established the Constitution, isn't it?
But, think....if our society was allowed to feel positive about their future anymore, they might not be so easily indoctrinated by the tea baggers, Faux Noise, and the right wing, religious extremists. Turn back to God and he will provide!

A society feeling prosperous and progressive isn't so easily swayed...and I am beginning to believe that there are many conservative Dems who are just as bad as the Republicans and their teabagger cohorts.
