Financial markets are supposed to mobilize resources and allow their efficient allocation for productive investment.

In addition, they are expected to facilitate transactions and reduce transaction costs, as well as reduce risk by providing insurance against low probability but high-cost events.

Therefore, those markets are often seen as instrumental in promoting economic growth and broad social development.


However, the hard reality is that

they often serve as a means of speculation and financial accumulation without directly contributing to economic development and improving living standards, and

throughout history they have been fraught with crises.

Pirate party snatches seats in Berlin state election

The result is not the first European success for the Pirates. The original Swedish version of the party won a seat in the European parliament in 2009 after capturing just over 7% of the vote. American [Superpower] Chinook helicopter destroyed

Sep. 18 –

Mujahideen from Zhiri district report that they shot and destroyed an American Chinook helicopter yesterday morning with 82mm cannon round after it landed near the district center.

The number of casualties caused in the incident is not known.
