I have a question, ok here it is... building started on the twin towers on 9/11/1971 and Bush Sr. gave his "New World Order Speech" on 9/11/1991, then the twin towers were attacked on 9/11/2001, this is the question what happened on 9/11/1981 "world event etc..." does anyone see where I am going with this, I have a funny gut feeling on this, I am looking on line for this info but if anyone knows if anything happened on 9/11/1981, "as far as world event or news story etc..." I would like to know ... thank you, it may wind up nothing to it but I want to know one way or the other :?:

Coincidence in numbers is like saying numerology or say cabalism actually means something. Like astrology, or religion, or portents, or the oracle at Delphi, or reading chicken entrails- these are all speculative guesses at trying to read the future- much like believing in a god or afterlife. Prove it with foresight and fit it together with afterthought. It's nice and comforting to think that we somehow have control of our future.

The truth of fear and lack of purpose tends to make us hopeful and wishing for a sense of meaning to our time on earth.

I'm sure someone will find importance and signifigance to it in the future.

I dunno if signifigant but it is entertaining :

"The most startling discovery was a book written in 1981, 20 years prior to the 2001 attacks, called "The Birth of Christ Recalculated". The author, Dr. Ernest L. Martin, claims to have calculated the exact date of Jesus
Christ's birth based on the celestial charts for that era. The date of Christ's birth, based on the famous Star of Bethlehem, is calculated to be September 11, 3 B.C.. Dr. Martin's findings have been accepted by many
scholars, theologians, historians, and astronomers. We also note that Jesus Christ has 11 letters. The crosses found standing in the ruins of the WTC, and the dominance of the number 11 in the 9-11 events, make this combination even more mysterious."

Oh, but don't stop there, it goes further....

I rest my case. Hindsight is not 20/20 but more myopic at a somewhat blinded 9/11/11.

Some people and their sites have more time than sense.

Jayhawk, thanks for this silly spot of trivia. I tried to find a site with something about this nonsense, but you did it. Fine investigative work, Sherlock. Once again, the dog didn't bark.

But it is interesting!

I know so many people who have interest in nothing, I am glad I find so many things interesting.

Keep up the good work, I like the question and I like the answers. Maybe I have been living around cats too long, eh? They find EVERYTHING interesting.

I remember when those pictures of the smoke monsters came out in the National Enquirer. Wasted minds want to know. People see things in other things all the time . The Rhorshack test is more about the enquirer than the enquiree. Clouds are a favorite pasttime of most children.

Let the children play and let the numbers add up. Me, I'm going fishing. The salmon are running. Staring at the sonar and seeing those shapes are more fun.
