For newspaper editors these days, it's all "in the mix":

http://www.thiscantbehappening.net/2005 ... 4170525466

excerpt:

... Editors at the Inquirer reportedly discuss the "mix" of story topics that will be assigned, or that are to run in the next day's edition. They are referring, apparently, not to the matter of what is the right proportion of local, national and international news, the right ratio of sports, opinion, lifestyle, culture--these are basically predetermined by the size of various sections of the paper, and by the various news holes, and rarely change much. What they are referring to, I’m told, is the mix of political content of the news stories.

As one staffer grouses, "I used to think news stories were decided on their own merits. If it was news, you ran it. Now a story, no matter how good, has to be considered in the context of other stories the paper is running. It's a question of the mix."

_________

I thought this was an interesting peek behind the scenes. ...The banality of it all. ...just thousands of everyday little decisions (that have somehow gotten twisted), while everyone's just "doing their job".

Much of the problem lies in blanket acceptance of this fundamentally false "left/right" paradigm - even the author here perpetuates it. Many of us are tired of that game, are tired of cheaters, are tired of Lucy moving the football on Charlie Brown every time.

So how about a new paradigm - one called "truth or lies"? I think that's what Jesse's writing is about. And I think those same principles come down to integrity or cowardice, loyalty or treason.

Best regards,
David

Right on Gold.

The media is the culprit but like the physician that must heal itself, who will expose its lies when there is so much money to be made.

We're proud of what Jesse has done and since there is no money in the real 'TRUTH' he has spent his investments by exposing himself to the realities of life. Try to donate something to him so we can keep him and this site active.

This is not a paid advertisement, merely a statement of acknowledgement about what speaking truth to power does in this lifetime. Ask Jebus what truth will get you and go get 3 nails.

Typical repukelicans, mga... they're simply out of touch with reality... which is probably caused by where they keep their heads...
