Bush is raising the abortion debate again, and will change the rules in his second term. He says he is following the christian way.
Gay marriage - same type of pandering, and proud of it.
But consider keeping sunday as the lord's day? Not a chance.
We can look for ways that show Bush is not christian at all, and I believe he is not. I think he spits at religion actually ; many other people think he has some secret information or aligns himself with aliens or the devil, and just uses religion to get what he wants ["whatever it takes"]
Sunday shopping is one of these bits of evidence - Bush and his Elite friends are much more keen on the money that flows each seventh day, and to take that away from his friends would be worse than offending the lord. You see, he is phony and hypocritical towards christianity and religion. Thou shalt Rest on the 7th Day - or was it just God that needed the rest? - no, I think it is for all of us. Keeping Sunday Holy is easy compared to abortion, which is mingled with personal rights and all that stuff, and yet Bush does not try to 'revert America to an older time' on that issue.
The other thing is the priests who are still buggering children. This is serious , the tortured lives of the victims have come out into the open lately, and its ugly stuff. Neither the victims or the ongoing abuses have been tackled by Bush. This is big time sin, using a position of trust to committ crimes. yet, nada things is being done. M
Priest sex crimes have more victims than 9-11, every year. And yet, no action.
You won't find anyone less likely to be religious than myself, but even I am offended at the ways Bush uses religion to get to his goals. Religious people should be really offended...
