Archived: 9/11 Naming Names! Some interesting information has come our way regarding the people responsible for the events of September 11th, 2001. TvNewsLIES.org will be hosting a guest that is prepared to finally expose some of the people who made those events possible. While we have not yet checked out all of the information given to us the information that will be disclosed live on our show will be at the very least verifiable. Once the names are out we can start doing some real research related to the disclosure. This week’s program will prove to be very interesting!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If every subscriber to this mailing list donated $1 per week our minimum financial needs would be met. If we doubled the size of our list it would only take $0.50 per week. Being financed to this point would mean that TvNewsLIES could pay for its overhead and any money over this amount could go towards hiring reporters and expanding the new radio program. It would also allow TvNewsLIES could repay my original investment so that I can do things like pay the rent and buy food! Just something to think about. http://tvnewslies.org/html/an_urgent_message.html

TVNL Editor's Comments: Bechtel “Wins”; Again

It is pretty amazing how the friends of the current administration keep “winning” huge government contracts fair and square! It is also pretty amazing that these companies keep receiving contracts even though they get caught stealing $millions and under-delivering on prior contracts! What are the odds?

You know…I have been purchasing furniture for the new TvNewsLIES office (yes, a real office, thanks to your donations…in my home of course…coming soon) by finding used bargains on Craigslist.com. I also found some moving guys on that site. I can not imagine myself re-hiring moving guys for a second job after they screwed up the first job and over charged me. I also can not imagine myself buying the same desk from someone charging a $1200 when I was able to get it for $200 (amazing deal by the way…great desk!). It must be that companies who have direct ties to politicians have some amazing luck or it must be that politicians are just not as frugal as I. It’s curious how this keeps happening; don’t you think? Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org

WAR : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#war

· 50 deaths reported across Iraq - Police found a dozen bodies trapped in a grate in the Tigris River and a roadside bomb killed two US soldiers on a foot patrol south of Baghdad yesterday, as nearly 50 violent deaths were reported across Iraq.

· 'US, Israel planned ME war' - The US government was closely involved in the planning of Israel's military operations against Islamic militant group Hezbollah even before the July 12 kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers,

POLITICS : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news#politics

· Israeli Leaders Fault Bush on War - Amid the political and diplomatic fallout from Israel’s faltering invasion of Lebanon, some Israeli officials are privately blaming President George W. Bush for egging Prime Minister Ehud Olmert into the ill-conceived military adventure against the Hezbollah militia in south Lebanon.

ECONOMY : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news#economy

· UPDATE PENDING

9/11 News : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#911

· The Anglo-American empire’s “next 9/11” will set up final war; “foiled” UK terror plot a propaganda dry run - This is a new attempt, at the highest levels of the Bush and Blair administrations, in concert with Pakistan’s ISI and Israel, to fabricate the justification for an escalation in the “war on terrorism” across the Middle East.

· Passengers, Bloggers Scorn Heathrow Bomb Scare - As with earlier scares from Bush and Blair, starting with the anthrax plot, many people find the timing suspicious. I noted the incident was perfectly timed to coincide with the premiere of the Big Lie movie WTC.

CONGRESS : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#congress

· No Republican on ballot, Lampson's chances soar - DeLay announced he was resigning from Congress in April. He said last week that he was withdrawing his name from the ballot, after the state Republican Party lost its legal battle to replace him there with a candidate of its choosing.

· Rep. Davis: War bungles should oust RumsfeldRep. Davis: War bungles should oust Rumsfeld - U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Davis, a Republican, hasn't ever agreed with Sen. Hillary Clinton on anything. But is siding with the New York Democrat in calling for Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld resignation.

DOMESTIC : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#domestic

· Planned Medicaid Cuts Cause Rift With States - The White House is clashing with governors of both parties over a plan to cut Medicaid payments to hospitals and nursing homes that care for millions of low-income people.
TVNL Comment: Remember how the Republicans used to accuse the Democrats of class warefare? Well the Republicans feel that it is not OK be accused of class warefare but it is sure OK to partake in it!

· Feds Want Skilling to Pay Nearly $183M - Federal prosecutors want former Enron Corp. CEO Jeffrey Skilling to turn over nearly $183 million for helping perpetuate one of the biggest business frauds in U.S. history - his alleged share and that of his late co-defendant, company founder Kenneth Lay.

ENVIRONMENT : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#environment

· UPDATE PENDING

INTERNATIONAL : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#international

· Analysis: Pact Won't Improve U.S. Image - This war is widely viewed as a joint U.S.-Israeli venture that slaughtered innocents and wrecked homes, roads and businesses in a fragile democracy the Bush administration has said it supports.

· Brits focus their fury on Blair - Latest terror threat has many laying the blame for London’s risk on U.S.-friendly foreign policy.

MILITARY & VETERANS : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#military

· Is an armament sickening U.S. soldiers? - A shell coated with depleted uranium pierces a tank like a hot knife through butter, exploding on impact into a charring inferno. As tank armor, it repels artillery assaults. It also leaves behind a fine radioactive dust with a half-life of 4.5 billion years.

EDITORIAL : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#editorial

· Descent Into Moral Barbarism - As Israel's military bravely fires away shells and missiles to lay waste the fragile human and physical infrastructure of Lebanon, Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, waging battle on a second front to legitimize Israel's criminal aggression, bravely fires away op-eds from his foxhole at Martha's Vineyard to lay waste the fragile infrastructure of international law. These are but the latest salvoes in Dershowitz's long and distinguished career of apologetics on behalf of his Holy State.

· Thoughts on the Middle East, History, and Religion - Even though most sermons on Friday in Iraq, both Shiite and Sunni, denounced faith-based violence, tensions over religion continued to run high.

· More than coincidence to BP’s Alaska closure? - Some might think it’s just serendipitous that British Petroleum (BP), owners of the Alaska Pipeline, happened to “discover severe corrosion” and shut the pipeline down precisely as the nation writhes under record high prices for gasoline and diesel. Then again, given the blind eyes the Bush administration and the Republican-dominated Congress have turned toward any regulation of energy corporations—and the record profits those companies are greedily reaping as energy prices soar—one might wonder if there’s more than just blind coincidence at work here.

JOURNALISM & MEDIA : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#media

· Eavesdropping and the Election: An Answer on the Question of Timing - THE NEW YORK TIMES’S Dec. 16 article that disclosed the Bush administration’s warrantless eavesdropping has led to an important public debate about the once-secret program. And the decision to write about the program in the face of White House pressure deserved even more praise than I gave it in a January column, which focused on the paper’s inadequate explanation of why it had “delayed publication for a year.”

HEALTH & SCIENCE : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#health

· Why the U.S. Has Not Stemmed HIV - Activists Blame Infection Rate, Unchanged Since 1990, on Policies and Funding

HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#rights

· Panel Suggests Using Inmates in Drug Trials - Nevertheless, it has dredged up a painful history of medical mistreatment and incited debate among prison rights advocates and researchers about whether prisoners can truly make uncoerced decisions, given the environment they live in.

· Tyre bombing fires threaten hospital - Israeli warplanes have bombed five petrol stations in Lebanon's southern port city of Tyre, sparking a huge fire that threatens to engulf a nearby hospital, the hospital director says. Vehicles belonging to the Civil Defence Service, the Army and the fire brigade have tried to reach the hospital to bring help. However, new air raids have forced them to flee for cover.
TVNL Comment: Again we ask; how is this not terrorism?

OF INTEREST : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#interest

· Bechtel unit wins FEMA contract worth up to $250M - Bechtel National is also building power grids and public works in Iraq under a $1.8 billion government contract.
TVNL Comment: It sure does pay to be a friend of Dick Cheney.
