Today, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting chose a former Republican Party co-chairman Thursday as its president and chief executive. Having a political operative as the head of our public broadcasting is an outrage. This is clearly an attempt to increase government control over the media. In essence it is expanding the state controlled media in this nation.

This is a move that one would expect to find in Stalin's Russia or in Communist China. The US, contrary to the claims of the right wing, is fast becoming a dictatorship. Todays news is a frightening indication of what this nation has become at the hands of the neocons who hijacked this nation for their personal use.
