Why do “news” agencies poll us and then tell us how we “feel?” Why don’t they just report information to us and let us feel however we feel? They ASK us if we FEEL that Bush misled (lied to) us about the invasion of Iraq when they should be investigating and reporting to us with the truth about the situation! · 2 Canadians killed in Afghan attack - Two Canadians were killed and five other soldiers injured in southern Afghanistan, military officials said Tuesday.

· 8 G.I.’s Die in Baghdad, Most in a Day Since ’05 - At least 17 soldiers and marines have been killed since Saturday, most in Baghdad or Anbar Province, where fierce fighting continues between marines and Sunni insurgents.

· BLOODY BAGHDAD DAY LEAVES 263 DEAD - 45 other people were reportedly injured in those or similar attacks.

· 2nd mass kidnapping in Iraq; martial law extended - For a second day, gunmen dressed as Iraqi government forces staged a mass kidnapping Monday, raiding several computer stores in central Baghdad and seizing at least 14 people, a Baghdad emergency police official told CNN.

And yet here we sit, four days after it was revealed that Republican Congressman Mark Foley was using the Internet to go after teenaged boys, and all you can hear from our own little version of the Taliban is dead quiet and crickets chirping.
