Some of you have been receiving more than one copy of our newsletter. This is because the problems with sending the newsletter continue and on occasion I have to resend the list. I am very sorry about this and I am working very hard to fix all the problems with the mailing list.

UPDATE: We are waiting for a final stable release of the new version of mailing list management software that we use. The software is currently in a final alpha testing phase and should be entering beta testing shortly. Once the new version is released we hope to install it and we hope that it fixes the problems that we have been experiences.

I am VERY sorry for the inconsistency of our mailings!

I’ll keep working until the system works as it should!

Peace,

Jesse

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If every subscriber to this mailing list donated $1 per week our minimum financial needs would be met. If we doubled the size of our list it would only take $0.50 per week. Being financed to this point would mean that TvNewsLIES could pay for its overhead and any money over this amount could go towards hiring reporters and expanding the new radio program. It would also allow TvNewsLIES could repay my original investment so that I can do things like pay the rent and buy food! Just something to think about. http://tvnewslies.org/html/an_urgent_message.html

Support us with a simple click of the mouse!: If every subscriber to this site clicked on some of the text ads on the news page we would probably earn enough advertising revenue to keep going without donations!

SHOP WITH US! – If you use our links on the side of the news page when you shop at your favorite online stores we receive revenue from the online shops and it costs you nothing!

TVNL Editor's Comments:  $Billions Spent to Ignore Food – Pharmaceuticals Vs. Farmaceuticals

The pharmaceutical behemoth Pfizer announced that it is dropped development on a drug intended to raise good cholesterol levels. They already have a drug, widely prescribed, that is designed to lower bad cholesterol levels. Pfizer spent over a $billion to develop this new drug so that they can make multiple $billions on people with unhealthy levels of cholesterol.

Let me play Dr. Jesse for a moment and let me address this issue using research and real life clinical studies that date back centuries…eat more. That’s right, I said eat more and you can lower your bad cholesterol and raise your good cholesterol. The key is that you have to eat more of the right foods.

Garlic, raw and in pill form will lower your bad cholesterol as much if not more than Lipitor and it has no dangerous side effects (unless you consider bad breath dangerous!) Olive oil will raise your good cholesterol. There are many other natural foods that will bring your blood cholesterol levels to healthy levels but you can start by using garlic and olive oil. In the mean time cut back on the ice cream and cheese steaks.

For your information bad breath is not nearly as serious an issue as the possible adverse effects of a prescription drug like Lipitor:  (see today’s blog for details)

The human body is not as poorly designed as the big drug companies want you to believe. We have survived on this planet for quite a while. The planed has sustained us fairly well through history. So the next time you feel compelled to run to the pharmacy try taking a detour to the farm first. Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org
