News: 'nüz, 'nyüz - A report of recent events

Today's establishment media practice very little journalism and devote minimal resources to reporting actual news. Instead they have become a mechanism with which to create and maintain public perception. They spend most of their resources presenting the public with a false reality while distracting them from the most important issues facing our world.

For all practical purposes it is safe to say that the reality portrayed by the establishment media bares little resemblance to the actual world in which we live. This is not theory but is documented reality that becomes clear to anyone who cares to pay attention. An easy way to think of this is that the people in the establishment media are holding up an orange for your viewing while telling you that it is an apple. TvNewsLIES.org simply taps you on the shoulder and points out the fact that you are indeed looking at an orange. We don't simply "claim" that you are being lied to, we expose the lies as they are being told.

You don't have to believe us, you just have to believe your own common sense. We try to point out that this deception is taking place and we show you virtually every detail of the deception process. Once you become aware of what is happening, you will be better able to evaluate information and spot the deception for yourself. And, hopefully, as a result, you will be less likely to be fooled...by anyone in the establishment media!

Lies come in many forms: partial truths, selective facts, out-of-context quotes and information, partial historical perspective and outright misrepresentation of facts. It is easy to manipulate the public. If you become aware of the methods of deception you will be better prepared to sift through the propaganda to uncover the few facts that are actually made available by our broadcast our news media. Learn their tricks, stay on your toes and become a better informed (responsible) citizen

Duncan Hunter's earmarks benefit his son
Monday, 13 October 2008 16:19

Defense contractors who received millions of dollars in government earmarks arranged by Rep. Duncan Hunter are now helping to fill the campaign coffers of his son, who is seeking the San Diego-area congressional seat being vacated by his father after 28 years, records show.

Officials at several companies that benefited from the pet project spending requests that the veteran Republican lawmaker inserted into often-unrelated legislation have contributed more than $30,000 to the front-running campaign of his son, Duncan D. Hunter, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records.

In Reversal, Democrats Shelve Iran Resolution
Thursday, 09 October 2008 22:38

Falling from shoo-in status to widely rejected legislation within the space of four months, a resolution that would have opened the door for a naval blockade on Iran was officially shelved at the end of September, after several of its cosponsors withdrew their support.

AIPAC framed the bill as a necessary escalation of tactics toward Iran. In a statement on the legislation, AIPAC announced, "Iran poses a growing threat to the United States and our allies as it continues rapidly advancing toward a nuclear weapons capability.

Congressional Birdbrains - Your Health at Risk
Wednesday, 08 October 2008 21:03

1) The Senate is made up of multi-millionaires who maintain power by accepting and granting favors. Those with large amounts of money, such as the Big Pharma lobby, mostly get what they want even though the American public is typically shafted in the arrangement. Senators don't need their paychecks; they get high on brokering power and facilitating deals to the highest bidder, based on whichever political party is most in control and who their friends may be.

2) While the House has some entrenched multi-millionaires who operate like those in the Senate, most members of the House are not the cream of any crop and could not make as much money in the private sector as they are being paid by their position in the House of Representatives (which includes a retirement plan that would be the envy of every American). Most of these people desperately need their paychecks and will do almost anything to keep them coming.
