Journalism: jer-nal-i-zm - : writing characterized by a direct presentation of facts or description of events without an attempt at interpretation and without opinion.

News: 'nüz, 'nyüz - A report of recent events

Today's establishment media practice very little journalism and devote minimal resources to reporting actual news. Instead they have become a mechanism with which to create and maintain public perception. They spend most of their resources presenting the public with a false reality while distracting them from the most important issues facing our world.

For all practical purposes it is safe to say that the reality portrayed by the establishment media bares little resemblance to the actual world in which we live. This is not theory but is documented reality that becomes clear to anyone who cares to pay attention. An easy way to think of this is that the people in the establishment media are holding up an orange for your viewing while telling you that it is an apple. TvNewsLIES.org simply taps you on the shoulder and points out the fact that you are indeed looking at an orange. We don't simply "claim" that you are being lied to, we expose the lies as they are being told.

You don't have to believe us, you just have to believe your own common sense. We try to point out that this deception is taking place and we show you virtually every detail of the deception process. Once you become aware of what is happening, you will be better able to evaluate information and spot the deception for yourself. And, hopefully, as a result, you will be less likely to be fooled...by anyone in the establishment media!

Lies come in many forms: partial truths, selective facts, out-of-context quotes and information, partial historical perspective and outright misrepresentation of facts. It is easy to manipulate the public. If you become aware of the methods of deception you will be better prepared to sift through the propaganda to uncover the few facts that are actually made available by our broadcast our news media. Learn their tricks, stay on your toes and become a better informed (responsible) citizen

Whale deal falls at last minute
Monday, 13 October 2008 22:51

A unique consensus between environment groups and whaling nations at the World Conservation Congress was derailed by a last-minute Australian intervention.

The conservation groups behind the consensus, the Pew Environment Group and WWF, believed it could help build bridges between Norway, Japan and Iceland and their opponents which could, in the end, lead to a diminution of the whaling industry.

GM crops have fallen into the wrong hands
Sunday, 12 October 2008 20:30

Then you list ways that GM crops could alleviate hunger and malnutrition. Yes, in the hands of genuinely neutral scientists, they probably would. But GM is firmly in the hands of the type of people who gave us tobacco lies, asbestos lies and weapons-of-mass destruction lies - the type who sought to create wealth by genetically modifying the banks. Should we trust them when they no longer trust each other?

About 2,500 flee chemical leak in Pennsylvania
Sunday, 12 October 2008 00:41

A corrosive liquid overflowed from a tank at a chemical plant in western Pennsylvania on Saturday, evaporating into a toxic cloud that snaked along the ground and forced about 2,500 people to flee. At least three residents were believed to be injured.

A material called oleum, similar to sulfuric acid, leaked from a tank at the Indspec Chemical Corp. plant in Petrolia, said plant manager Dave Dorko.

Authorities were concerned about the potential for respiratory damage and skin burns, said Freda Tarbell, spokeswoman for the state Department of Environmental Protection.

TVNL Comment: But this can't happen at a bio-weapons plant releasing deadly viruses. Right?

Ocean Dumping of Chemical Weapons
Monday, 06 October 2008 21:12

From World War I until the 1970s, dumping of chemical weapons at sea was the accepted practice for disposal. Little documentation of this practice can be found before the mid-1940s. In 1943, mustard (H) was released into the waters of Bari harbor in Italy. Since the end of World War II, ocean dumping has occurred in many areas, including the Baltic Sea, around Japan, in the Adriatic Sea near Bari, and in the coastal waters of the United States. During the period 1945-1948, the US scuttled at sea approximately 32,000 tons of captured German chemical weapons. The British dumped approximately 175,000 tons of chemical weapons at sea, with 100,000 tons coming from Scotland and the balance from the captured German stockpile. During 1955-56, the British dumped a further 17,000 tons of captured German munitions. During 1956-1957, the British disposed of the remainder of their stockpile of chemical weapons, 8,000 tons of World War II vintage mustard and phosgene munitions. News reports indicate that the ocean dumping in the 1950s occurred in the Irish Sea; some of the British dumps in the late 1940s may have occurred in the North Sea. The Adriatic, Baltic, and Japanese ocean dumps have provided evidence of the persistence of mustard under water.
