The Lebanese military said an Israeli drone entered its airspace Wednesday, the latest in more than a dozen other incidents reported this week.
Lebanon's official National News Agency, operated by the Lebanese Interior Ministry, said an Israeli surveillance drone entered the country's airspace from the southern border region.
"All in all, enemy violation of Lebanese airspace and U.N. Resolution 1701, lasted more than 15 hours," it said.
U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701 brought an end to a 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel. It calls on Hezbollah to disarm and reminds Israel of its obligation to respect Lebanon's sovereignty.
