FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If every subscriber to this mailing list donated $1 per week our minimum financial needs would be met. If we doubled the size of our list it would only take $0.50 per week. Being financed to this point would mean that TvNewsLIES could pay for it’s overhead and any money over this amount could go towards hiring reporters and expanding the new radio program. It would also allow TvNewsLIES could repay my original investment so that I can do things like pay the rent and buy food! Just something to think about. http://tvnewslies.org/html/an_urgent_message.html

NOTE: We have been having problems sending out our newsletter formatted in html. We are working to solve this problem.

TVNL Editor's Comments: Madonna is 47 years old. She makes some mistakes but she stays ahead of the curve. The taught many other pop stars how to “do it”. She went through several phases in here career including her “like a virgin” phase, religious phase & maternal phase. I learned many things about Madonna.

Where did I learn all this vital information? MTV or VH1 perhaps? No. I learned all of this on CNN this morning. What I did not learn on CNN is that the new E.P.A. rules on mercury that poisons our air, food and water, are not protecting us. I wonder where people are supposed to look for that kind of trivial special interest information. Apparently not on CNN, the most trusted name in news! Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org

QUESTION: Have you forwarded this e-mail to anyone today? Consider doing so for you will be helping to inform the people of this nation about the vital issues that are hidden from them by our corporate media. Make this nation a better place, educate, inform and enlighten your fellow citizens!

If you believe that the American corporate media are our greatest enemy let the people know how you feel.

POLITICS : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news#politics

• RNC Chair Ken Mehlman, now with twice the lying power! - I know that some of my more cautious readers will blanch at my use of the "L" word. But when so many falsehoods and misleading statements are rolled atop each other, there's really no other description that fairly categorizes what the man is doing.

Alito Jr. as his Supreme Court pick, it took Progress for America just 39 minutes to announce a slick Web site and begin lobbying for his confirmation," the New York Times' Glen Justice and Aron Pilhofer are set to report in Monday editions. "And that was slow. The group had taken 11 minutes to do the same for Harriet E. Miers and only 7 minutes for John G. Roberts Jr. before that."

• The other cloud on Republican horizon - GOP leaders and activists are beleaguered by alleged ties to indicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

• 10/5/01: Bush Pulls Security Clearances From 92 Senators - So at this slightest whiff of evidence that information was being leaked, President Bush pulled classified intelligence access for 92 senators. And now he refuses to hold Karl Rove and Scooter Libby to anywhere near the same standard, despite confirmation of their involvement in the leak of an undercover CIA agent’s identity.

EDITORIAL : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#editorial

• The President Betrayed Us - Bush went to war on a claim that Iraq was about to attack us with WMD. When it became clear there were no WMD the honorable thing to do would be to resign. War is serious business, and there is no room for mistakes - or lies. If you go to war over WMD and there aren't WMD the right thing to do is step aside and let someome else take your place. Simple as that. But what happened with Iraq is far worse than that.
