FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If every subscriber to this mailing list donated $1 per week our minimum financial needs would be met. If we doubled the size of our list it would only take $0.50 per week. Being financed to this point would mean that TvNewsLIES could pay for it’s overhead and any money over this amount could go towards hiring reporters and expanding the new radio program. It would also allow TvNewsLIES could repay my original investment so that I can do things like pay the rent and buy food! Just something to think about. http://tvnewslies.org/html/an_urgent_message.html

Editor’s Comments - http://tvnewslies.org/blog

TVNL Editor's Comments: The Senate Judiciary Committee is holding hearings on the invasion of our privacy by the Executive branch of our country. The issue is in essence violations of the US Constitution by the president of the United states, repeatedly, for years.

This important hearing is airing live on C-SPAN. Live on CNN…an in depth report of Puff Daddy/P Ditty/Sean John. CNN…the most trusted name in news…only if you are an idiot! Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org

QUESTION: Have you forwarded this e-mail to anyone today? Consider doing so for you will be helping to inform the people of this nation about the vital issues that are hidden from them by our corporate media. Make this nation a better place, educate, inform and enlighten your fellow citizens!

If you believe that the American corporate media are our greatest enemy let the people know how you feel.

WAR : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#war

· IRAQ'S CIVIL WAR HAS COST $3,000 PER U.S. FAMILY-- SO FAR - God forbid critics of the war on Iraq should compare it with the war in Vietnam. But perhaps it is worth mentioning that the liberation of Iraq is now costing more each month than the preservation of the Republic of South Vietnam did more than 30 years ago.

· Halliburton bills U.S. taxpayers $50 for $5 labor in Iraq - Halliburton's KBR subsidiary pays $5 to $16 a day in wages to third world laborers in Iraq, but bills U.S. taxpayers between $50 and $80 a day for each laborer, military requisitions obtained by HalliburtonWatch reveal.

· US triples spending to stop Iraq bomb attacks-NYT - The Pentagon is tripling its spending to about $3.5 billion, on a newly expanded effort to combat the rising number of increasingly powerful homemade bombs that are the No. 1 killer of U.S. troops in Iraq, The New York Times reported on its Web site on Sunday.

· U.S. SERVICE MEMBER KILLED IN EASTERN AFGHANISTAN - One U.S. service member was killed today when enemy forces northwest of Methar Lam in Laghman Province opened fire on a U.S. patrol.

· Horse group upsets GOP by contributing to Democratic candidates - A horse-industry group pushing to allow casinos at Kentucky racetracks has contributed nearly 100-thousand dollars to two Louisville Democrats running in special elections this month. That has some Republican lawmakers upset.

· A Credibility 'Gap' - Bush critics worry that the White House may have deleted Plame-related emails during a 12-hour head start in the CIA leak probe. The delay is worse than they think.

· The CIA Leak: Plame Was Still Covert - Newly released court papers could put holes in the defense of Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, I. Lewis (Scooter) Libby, in the Valerie Plame leak case.

· On eve of hearing, split on spying - Some prominent conservatives break with Bush - ''My criteria for judging this stuff is what would a President Hillary do with these same powers," said Paul M. Weyrich, the influential writer and leader of the Free Congress Foundation, a think tank. ''And if I'm troubled by what she would do, then I have to be troubled by what Bush could do, even though I have more trust in Bush than I do in Hillary."

· The CIA Leak: Plame Was Still Covert - Newly released court papers could put holes in the defense of Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, I. Lewis (Scooter) Libby, in the Valerie Plame leak case. Lawyers for Libby, and White House allies, have repeatedly questioned whether Plame, the wife of White House critic Joe Wilson, really had covert status when she was outed to the media in July 2003.

· Synthetic terror alert BURNT ORANGE for Super Bowl XL - With the US Army stretched past ts limit, for the warmongers to successfully subdue Iran, they must use nuclear weapons. While the American Establishment is now convulsed over the issue of a president ordering wiretaps without court approval, the same president's assertion of the right to kill anyone on earth he chooses without charges, trial or judicial review is readily accepted on all sides.
