NYC police and Firefighters are encouraged to attend as well as members of the media and the NYC Department of Justice. You have also been advised to stop purchasing food for your children with the exception of Raman noodles. In these noodles will be high levels of mercury. Your water will no longer be treated so be careful when you drink from the tap. Medicine prices have increased sharply and vitamins will be regulated and eventually unavailable to the public so try not to get sick. Your local waste treatment plants and factories will no longer have to spend money on pollution controlling technology so you may experience periods of heavy breathing. You can only heat one room in your home and you can only heat it for 6 hours per day. If you or your children become ill you will have to sweat it out. Overspending on education will no longer continue so attending college may not be the right financial decision for you.

· This Presentation May Be Too Graphic - The announcement is made on the television "NEWS" channels every time there is a story about a bombing incident or a disaster such as the situation in New Orleans after Katrina.. In fact this warning is usually unnecessary because they will "fuzz out" any details showing severe wounds or dead bodies. This protects both those with "queasy stomachs" and those who feel that it is their "patriotic duty" to know what is going on even though they may be repulsed by actually seeing anything gruesome. While the ultra-right expound about the "liberal media", the corporate owners of same are as effectively self-censored as were the German newspapers during the 1930's.

· The media assault on Mexico's alternative cancer clinics - The mainstream press seems downright giddy over reports that Coretta Scott King (widow of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.) recently died of cancer while exploring an alternative cancer treatment clinic in Mexico. What the press didn't report is that conventional medicine had already given up on her and left her to die (after poisoning her with the usual cancer treatments first, of course). It's no surprise she would want to check out alternatives. Sadly, she was too late.
