TVNL Editor's Comments: This morning on CNN Soledad O’Brien was reporting from London where she did an in depth interview with a woman who started walking to work in order to avoid the London underground trains. I wonder why we never saw Ms. O’Brien in Iraq asking people how they get around now that the US has turned their nation into a battlefield. One wounded Soldier was taken to a Coalition Forces medical treatment facility, the other was treated and returned to duty.


· MARINE KILLED BY EXPLOSIVE DEVICE NEAR AR RUTBAH - A Marine assigned to Regimental Combat Team-2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), was killed in action July 23 when the vehicle he was in was struck by an improvised explosive device.


· US troops wounded in Afghanistan - Six American soldiers have been injured in an attack in eastern Afghanistan, US military officials have said.
