TVNL Editor's Comments: Are you paying attention to the bloggers these days? They seem to be the only people out there investigating anything these days. The corporate news organizations are happy to deliver information that is handed to them by the authorities while the bloggers seem to actually research and investigate events.

The bloggers are still picking apart that criminal propaganda fake meeting between Bush and the troops. They have identified a second shill among the crowd. Are the corporate news criminals simply too stupid to find this out or are they criminally unwilling to do their job as journalists? It’s time to give credit where credit is due and acknowledge the fact that bloggers are now the trusted journalists who are trying to preserve our democracy while the corporate news cronies are the enemy of that democracy! Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org

QUESTION: Have you forwarded this e-mail to anyone today? Consider doing so for you will be helping to inform the people of this nation about the vital issues that are hidden from them by our corporate media. Make this nation a better place, educate, inform and enlighten your fellow citizens!

If you believe that the American corporate media are our greatest enemy let the people know how you feel.

· Seem like you're earning less? You aren't alone - ''Wages are depressed because the underground economy has taken over," Erlich said.

9/11 News : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#911

· Farrakhan's 9/11 Conspiracy Remarks Unreported by Washington Post - Pierre and Harris bury Farrakhan's conspiracy theory rhetoric about the government bombing the levees in New Orleans deep into the article, and they completely ignore Farrakhan's charge that the federal government was involved in 9/11. As reported by CNSNews.com's Marc Morano yesterday:

DOMESTIC : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#domestic

· Scandals Becoming an Issue in State Races - Political observers say the number of statehouse scandals has fostered a climate that makes the news out of Washington — near-daily stories of grand jury appearances, questions of insider stock trading, charges of high-level cronyism — even more resonant with voters.

· Administration mobilizes to prepare U.S. for possible pandemic - Critics complain that the Bush administration has ordered only enough Tamiflu to cover less than 2 percent of the U.S. population, despite a 2000 recommendation by the U.N. World Health Organization that governments cover at least 25 percent.

ENVIRONMENT : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#environment

· UPDATE PENDING

EDITORIAL : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#editorial

· The Normalization of Treason, the Republicans' gift to America - It would be one thing for a senior adviser to the president to put the nation's security at risk during a time of war. That could be explained as an aberration - a quite serious one, no doubt - but a fluke nonetheless. But when the president himself refuses to keep his own word about firing that aberration, and when the entire Republican party rallies around that fluke and tries to minimize what is usually a capital offense during wartime, something is seriously wrong with that party and its leadership.

· How the Land of the Free Became the Dinosaur in the Tar Pit - By now, more and more Americans are coming to understand how deeply we were deceived as our sons die daily in the long, unforgiving shadow of WMD "exaggerations."

JOURNALISM & MEDIA : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#media

· Soldier Propagandist - Intrepid MediaCitizen reader "lebkuchen" Googled some of the soldiers who were used as stooges before Bush and the cameras on Thursday and found another GI who didn't pass the smell test.

· Ku Klux Klan Coming To Midland Public Television - “The Klan,” a video news program distributed by the Ku Klux Klan will be airing on MCTV in Midland.

· We need to be told - "If we had all known then what we know now," said the New York Times on 24 August, "the invasion [of Iraq] would have been stopped by a popular outcry." The admission was saying, in effect, that powerful newspapers, like powerful broadcasting organisations, had betrayed their readers and viewers and listeners by not finding out - by amplifying the lies of Bush and Blair instead of challenging and exposing them.

· 'Hidden Scandal' in Miller Story, Charges Former CBS Newsman - There is one enormous journalism scandal hidden in Judith Miller's Oct. 16th first person article about the (perhaps lesser) CIA leak scandal. And that is Ms. Miller's revelation that she was granted a DoD security clearance while embedded with the WMD search team in Iraq in 2003. - This is as close as one can get to government licensing of journalists and the New York Times (if it knew) should never have allowed her to become so compromised.

· Bush’s Staged Meeting With the Troops - More Important Than You Think! - That event was of far greater importance than anyone has indicated to date. It is another smoking gun exposing the devious nature of the Bush/PNAC administration and the American news media.

One of the country's most eminent judges has said that undermining the independence of the courts has frightening parallels with Nazi Germany.

· Iraqi women see little but darkness - In the 1990s, after the Persian Gulf War, fundamentalism closed in on women as sanctions did on President Saddam Hussein.

· Gitmo detainees sue the American president - Ten Saudi prisoners held in the U.S. detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, plan to file cases in U.S. federal courts against the American President George W. Bush; demanding to know their charges and requesting a preliminary injunction to release them, Bahrain Center for Human Rights Vice President Nabeel Rajab said, adding that the prisoners will file the lawsuits the coming couple of weeks after the U.S. Center for Constitutional Rights assigned lawyers for each of them.
