TODAY: Monday, October 31: Are your rights to stay healthy being attacked? Discuss alternative medicine and general nutrition. If you or anyone you know is ill or suffers from any chronic ailments you will want to tune in!

Guest: Kevin Trudeau – Consumer and Natural Health Advocate. Author of Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About (You've seen him on his infomercial!)
Guest: Kevin Miller.
International award-winning filmmaker Kevin P. Miller of Well TV will discuss his new documentary about the threat to medical freedom of choice. 'We Become Silent: The Last Days of Health Freedom' details the ongoing attempts by multinational pharmaceutical interests and giant food companies — in concert with the WTO, the WHO and others — to limit the public’s access to herbs, vitamins and other therapies.

Monday, November 7: Skull & Bones - Secret Societies, Our Real Government.

Guest: Kris Millegan -  Author of Fleshing Out Skull & Bones - Skull and Bones, the pirates flag, a poison warning—an icon of death—an interesting symbol for what some say is merely a Yale 'frat' club. Just some college kids and their bizarre hazing humor—having fun. - For almost 170 years that grimacing visage and code of "strict secrecy" has fostered many questions.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If every subscriber to this mailing list donated $1 per week our minimum financial needs would be met. If we doubled the size of our list it would only take $0.50 per week. Being financed to this point would mean that TvNewsLIES could pay for it’s overhead and any money over this amount could go towards hiring reporters and expanding the new radio program. It would also allow TvNewsLIES could repay my original investment so that I can do things like pay the rent and buy food! Just something to think about. http://tvnewslies.org/html/an_urgent_message.html

TVNL Editor's Comments: Did you know that magnesium is used to treat acute asthma attacks in emergency situations? Did you know that a magnesium deficiency often results in asthma becoming more severe and increases the frequency of asthma attacks? Did you know that most asthma medications deplete your body of magnesium resulting in the above mentioned conditions? What else don’t you know about the medicines that you are given?

Did you know that you may soon need a prescription to get magnesium, vitamin C and other nutrients?

I will be discussing these and other issues related to your health and your rights to stay healthy on our radio program today. Do you really think that the companies that earn their fortune on treating your chronic or slowly progressing illness really want you to get better and stop paying you for their medication? Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org

QUESTION: Have you forwarded this e-mail to anyone today? Consider doing so for you will be helping to inform the people of this nation about the vital issues that are hidden from them by our corporate media. Make this nation a better place, educate, inform and enlighten your fellow citizens!

If you believe that the American corporate media are our greatest enemy let the people know how you feel.

WAR : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#war

· Lack of Armor Proves Deadly for Iraqi Army - Even as American forces are relying more on Iraqis to fight the insurgency, the Iraqi Army is facing some of the same procurement problems that American troops have experienced in getting adequate armor and other equipment, according to interviews in Iraq with American and Iraqi military officials.

· 'Many dead' in US strike in Iraq - US officials insisted it was a precision strike designed to avoid civilian casualties. - But doctors at a hospital in the nearby town of Qaim said there were more than 30 dead, including women and children.
TVNL Comment: How many times is this going to happen and when can we start calling it murder?

· MARINE DIES FROM IED ATTACK NEAR NASSER WA SALAAM - A Marine assigned to Regimental Combat Team 8, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), died of wounds sustained from an enemy improvised explosive device attack on his vehicle during combat operations near Nasser Wa Salaam Oct. 29.

· Funds Fade, Deaths Rise and Iraq Rebuilding Is Spotty - As the money runs out on the $30 billion American-financed reconstruction of Iraq, the officials in charge cannot say how many planned projects they will complete, and there is no clear source for hundreds of millions of dollars a year needed to operate the projects that have been finished, according to a report to Congress released yesterday.

· Arab League says end of Iraq unrest hinges on US pullout - Arab League Secretary General Amr Mussa charged in an interview that Washington's refusal to offer a troop withdrawal timetable was threatening the stability of Iraq

· U.S. Inquiry Cites Missteps in Iraqi Reconstruction - As the money runs out on the $30 billion American-financed reconstruction of Iraq, the officials in charge cannot say how many planned projects they will complete, and there is no clear source for hundreds of millions of dollars a year needed to operate the projects that have been finished, according to a report to Congress made public today.

· Gunmen kill Iraq cabinet adviser - An Iraqi cabinet adviser was killed on Sunday when his car was attacked by gunmen in northern Baghdad and a deputy trade minister was wounded in a separate attack, officials said.

POLITICS : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news#politics

· Kristof: Cheney Must Explain CIA Leak Role--or Resign - What Kristof now points to is a detail in the Libby indictments, that Cheney had learned from the C.I.A. that Joe Wilson's wife worked at the agency and told Libby that on about June 12, 2003.

· Addington's Role In Cheney's Office Draws Fresh Attention - David Addington, counsel to Vice President Cheney, is currently considered the leading candidate to succeed Scooter Libby as Cheney's chief of staff. But Addington's own role in the Plame matter is emerging just as the vice president considers whether to name him to the job.

· Probe of lobbyist turns to Interior dept. - An investigation of Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff and his dealings with tribal gambling interests is turning to Gale Norton's Interior Department.

· The Price Of Loyalty - This has been the Bush pattern. Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill presciently says a second tax cut is unaffordable if we want to fight in Iraq—he's fired. Bush's economic adviser Larry Lindsey presciently says the war will cost between $100 billion and $200 billion (an underestimate)—he's fired. Army Gen. Eric Shinseki presciently says that winning in Iraq will require several hundred thousand troops—he's sent into early retirement. By contrast, CIA Director George Tenet, who presided over two of the greatest intelligence lapses in American history (9/11 and WMD in Iraq) and apparently helped spread "oppo ammo" to discredit the husband of a woman who had devoted her life to his agency, receives the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

9/11 News : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#911

· Eric Hufschmid - The importance of understanding 9-11
TVNL Comment: VIDEO

· The Coincidence Theorist's Guide to 9/11 - That intelligence agencies, financiers, terrorists and narco-criminals have a long history together is well established, but the Nugan Hand Bank, BCCI, Banco Ambrosiano, the P2 Lodge, the CIA/Mafia anti-Castro/Kennedy alliance, Iran/Contra and the rest were a long time ago, so there’s no need to rehash all that. That was then, this is now!

DOMESTIC : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#domestic

· US begins switch to RFID passports - Despite gaining support from only 1% of the US public, the State Department has finalised plans to go ahead with passports containing radio frequency identification (RFID) chips, reports eWeek.

· Bush to Nominate Alito to Supreme Court - In the early 1990s, Alito was the lone dissenter in Planned Parenthood v. Casey, a case in which the 3rd Circuit struck down a Pennsylvania law that included a provision requiring women seeking abortions to notify their spouses.

· Report: Bush fundraisers got $1.2 billion in public funds - Thirty Ohioans who raised a combined $4.1 million for President Bush's re-election campaign have received more than $1.2 billion in public funds for their companies and clients, a newspaper reported.

ENVIRONMENT : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#environment

· Atoll still scarred by tests - Unexpectedly high levels of radioactive contamination are being discovered in French Polynesia almost a decade after nuclear testing ended on Mururoa Atoll, says the territory's President, Oscar Temaru. Up to five people a day are being sent to private hospitals in Auckland for diagnosis and treatment for what may be radiation-related illnesses, officials say.

· Army secret surfaces: Deadly chemicals at sea - Millions of pounds of unused weapons of mass destruction were dumped in oceans before Congress banned the practice in 1972. The threat is still out there, and may be growing.

INTERNATIONAL : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#international

· Venezuela's Chavez Says He Expects 'beautiful' Debate With U.S. President Bush at Summit - Chavez has said he looks forward to sitting at the same table with his archrival Bush during the summit at the seaside resort of Mar del Plata.

· 100 Countries Party to the ICC Treaty Reached - In a ceremony held today at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Mexico deposited its instrument of ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), becoming the 100th State Party to the ICC. - Many of the countries who have become party to the ICC, including Mexico, have faced enormous pressure from the United States which continues to oppose the Court. In addition to pushing countries to not ratify the ICC treaty, the US has threatened countries with the loss of US aid in order to secure bilateral ICC immunity agreements. - To date, the US has cut millions of dollars of much-needed aid to more than twenty countries that support the ICC including South Africa, Peru, Croatia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, and Kenya.
TVNL Comment: The Bush/PNAC administration cuts much needed aid to nations because they want to follow an international legal system. How disgraceful is that?

· Damage has already been done to Tony Blair - The Plame affair may not harm the PM, but it will affect how his successor works with the US.

MILITARY & VETERANS : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#military

· Two U.S. Soldiers Charged in Afghanistan - Two U.S. soldiers have been charged with assault for allegedly punching two detainees in the chest, shoulders and stomach at a military base in Afghanistan, the military said Monday.

EDITORIAL : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#editorial

· Cia Leak: Not above the law - No matter where the investigation goes from here, the question is why President Bush didn't fire Libby long ago if his role in outing Plame was as clear as the indictments indicate. It raises the uncomfortable and inevitable question: What did the president know and when did he know it? - The larger, more important context goes beyond palace intrigue: the lengths to which the Bush administration was willing to go to protect its trumped-up justifications for an unjustifiable war.

JOURNALISM & MEDIA : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#media

· Bob Woodward, Lost in Cronyism? - How is it that one of the most revered investigative reporters of our generation is such a dunce when it comes to outing a CIA officer?

· Cheney staffer-turned-reporter now covering Libby indictment for NBC News - Over at the Huffington Post, Dan Carol asks a great question: how can NBC's Pete Williams be allowed to cover the Scooter Libby story for the network, considering Williams was a longtime former staffer for Dick Cheney?

· Hey NY Times: Go to Hell You Criminal Bastards! - I can not repeat this enough: none of the information related to the Plame case that is being presented to the public by the corporate media is new. It is almost like they are visiting sites like ours, Buzzflash.com, Whatreallyhappened.com or the like and skimming through our archives. They are printing 2-3 year old news stories as if they are suddenly finding out new information during some kind of journalistic investigation.

HEALTH & SCIENCE : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#health

· Cervical Cancer Vaccine Gets Injected With a Social Issue - A new vaccine that protects against cervical cancer has set up a clash between health advocates who want to use the shots aggressively to prevent thousands of malignancies and social conservatives who say immunizing teenagers could encourage sexual activity.

· Finally Medical Journal Admits the Truth - Today's British Medical Journal features an editorial on the bird flu in which they state the following: The lack of sustained human-to-human transmission suggests that this AH5N1 avian virus does not currently have the capacity to cause a human pandemic.
