FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If every subscriber to this mailing list donated $1 per week our minimum financial needs would be met. If we doubled the size of our list it would only take $0.50 per week. Being financed to this point would mean that TvNewsLIES could pay for it’s overhead and any money over this amount could go towards hiring reporters and expanding the new radio program. It would also allow TvNewsLIES could repay my original investment so that I can do things like pay the rent and buy food! Just something to think about. http://tvnewslies.org/html/an_urgent_message.html

Editor’s Comments - http://tvnewslies.org/blog

TVNL Editor's Comments: Welcome to the era of rubberneck news! Our so called news networks are now the television equivalent of those people who gather around accident scenes. Today on MSNBC they interrupted a news report to tell us (and show us distant video of) a school bus accident. Is this news? It was a damn automobile accident! Who the heck decided to get this national news coverage

It’s just stupid at this point! How do the news casters continue to make complete fools of themselves? It is so embarrassing to watch these adults try so hard to pretend that the stories they report are national news events! Can you imagine Walter Cronkite reporting the kinds of stories that this crop of child pretend TV journalists report on a daily bases? Can you imagine Edward R. Murrow doing an hour on Laci Peterson? Oh, man…it’s so embarrassing to be an American these days! Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org

QUESTION: Have you forwarded this e-mail to anyone today? Consider doing so for you will be helping to inform the people of this nation about the vital issues that are hidden from them by our corporate media. Make this nation a better place, educate, inform and enlighten your fellow citizens!

If you believe that the American corporate media are our greatest enemy let the people know how you feel.

Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires — a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we’re talking about chasing down terrorists, we’re talking about getting a court order before we do so. It’s important for our fellow citizens to understand, when you think Patriot Act, constitutional guarantees are in place when it comes to doing what is necessary to protect our homeland, because we value the Constitution.

EDITORIAL : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#editorial

· THE IMMINENT DANGER TO AMERICANS! - The real and imminent dangers to Americans are apparently unimportant to the Bush administration.
TVNL Comment: Every day we are told by members of the Bush administration and the lying criminals in the corporate media, that terror is the greatest threat posed to Americans. Well, that’s a load of bullshit! We don’t need a patriot act, we need to act like patriots and remove from office the criminals who scare us, lie to us, endanger us, ignore all real threats to us and are destroying our great nation!

· The Making of the Enemy - The manufacture, marketing and dissemination of bogeymen enemies, both real and fictional, for a long time endemic in American society, has always worked to perfection, becoming the inertia used to control the population. It becomes the energy needed to maintain America’s permanent wartime economy.

· The Fog of False Choices - Americans were told, after all, that there was a choice between invading Iraq and risking a terrorist nuclear attack. So it was not a surprise that Mr. Bush's Oval Office speech Sunday night and his news conference yesterday were thick with Orwellian constructions: the policy debate on Iraq is between those who support Mr. Bush and those who want to pull out right now, today; fighting terrorists in Iraq means we're not fighting them here.
