TVNL RADIO SHOW - http://tvnewslies.org/html/radio_show.html

SPECIAL New York 9/11 Event February 11th: Thanks to the hard work and personal efforts of James Richards we will be holding a special public screening of Loose Change 2. This documentary about the events of 9/11 will surely convince you that the official conspiracy theory of 9/11 as told to us by the Bush/PNAC administration is nothing more than a series of lies and deceptions. NYC police and Firefighters are encouraged to attend as well as members of the media and the NYC Department of Justice. The screening will be in New York City at the Pioneer Theater on February 11th at 9:00 PM. A screening and discussion will be held. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited. If you wish to reserve tickets write to jesse@tvnewslies.org. Admission is free but donations will be accepted. Donations will go towards 9/11 truth efforts.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If every subscriber to this mailing list donated $1 per week our minimum financial needs would be met. If we doubled the size of our list it would only take $0.50 per week. Being financed to this point would mean that TvNewsLIES could pay for it’s overhead and any money over this amount could go towards hiring reporters and expanding the new radio program. It would also allow TvNewsLIES could repay my original investment so that I can do things like pay the rent and buy food! Just something to think about. http://tvnewslies.org/html/an_urgent_message.html

Editor’s Comments - http://tvnewslies.org/blog

TVNL Editor's Comments: America? Best nation in the world? Liberty and justice for all?

How sad is that that I received a phone call from a wonderful supporter of the truth who offered me a place to hide in case the government came after me for exposing information about 9/11? While it was a beautiful thing that someone thought enough of what I am doing to make such an offer, the fact that an offer like that had to be made is a truly sad statement.

Are people supposed to feel frightened because they ask questions and because they point out inaccuracies in the answers they receive? Well in today’s America the honest citizen has become the enemy of the state. What does that say about our wonderful nation? Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org

QUESTION: Have you forwarded this e-mail to anyone today? Consider doing so for you will be helping to inform the people of this nation about the vital issues that are hidden from them by our corporate media. Make this nation a better place, educate, inform and enlighten your fellow citizens!

If you believe that the American corporate media are our greatest enemy let the people know how you feel.

WAR : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#war

· Afghanistan Five Years Later - Afghanistan has been a policy disaster from the get-go. The country is ravaged by war and unemployment, security beyond the capital of Kabul is virtually nonexistent, and malnutrition rates are higher among children anywhere other than sub-Saharan Africa.

· Wide Plot Seen in Guilty Plea in Iraq Project - Robert J. Stein Jr. could not have been clearer about his feelings toward the American businessman who was receiving millions of dollars in contracts from Mr. Stein to build a major police academy and other reconstruction projects in Iraq.

· Insurgents force U.S. to cut back plans for Iraqi reconstruction - Guerrilla attacks in Iraq have forced the cancellation of more than 60% of water and sanitation projects, in part because American intelligence failed to predict the brutal insurgency, a U.S. government audit said.
TVNL Comment: Who is winning?

· Afghan 'suicide bomb kills four' - Eight others were hurt when a car packed with explosives blew up near a security checkpoint late on Wednesday.

· Baghdad suicide bomb kills eight - At least eight Iraqis have been killed and more than 30 injured by a suicide bombing in Baghdad, police say.

· U.S. SOLDIER DIES FROM WOUNDS FOLLOWING SMALL-ARMS ATTACK - A Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldier died Feb. 1 from wounds incurred when his unit was attacked with small-arms fire in south-western Baghdad.

· THE NUCLEAR WAR ON IRAQ - Deputy Director of the Uranium Medical Research Centre, working with Dr. Asaf Durakovic, Tedd Weyman organized and led field studies in Afghanistan and Iraq to measure and analyze uranium contamination of radiotoxic and chemotoxic heavy metals ('depleted uranium,' etc.) from battlefield weapons. The use of uranium in non fissile-penetrating weapons and bunker busters are effectively nuclear weapons, Weyman reports. It is known world wide, he says, that DU weapons have long-term implications that, right now corporations and governments are hiding. But Weyman cautions, "If you don’t have a moral objection [to using DU on another nation], you might have a pragmatic objection which might be the liabilities that a nation faces for permanently contaminating another nation’s environment...Uranium contamination in Iraq will last for millions of years. So the liabilities are very significant when you have every nation that was on the receiving end and every soldier on the sending end contaminated."

POLITICS : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news#politics

· Abramoff case, spying loom over Gonzales - In the latest challenge to Gonzales' White House record, two members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday asked Gonzales what he knows about ties between convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff and Timothy Flanigan, a former White House lawyer, who withdrew his nomination to be deputy attorney general last October.

· Administration backs off Bush's vow to reduce Mideast oil imports - One day after President Bush vowed to reduce America's dependence on Middle East oil by cutting imports from there 75 percent by 2025, his energy secretary and national economic adviser said Wednesday that the president didn't mean it literally.
TVNL Comment: So was he lying? How exactly did he man it?

· Dems AWOL on Iraq - A one-sentence quote from today’s New York Times says it all. Referring to Senator Harry Reid of Nevada and Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, who spoke in advance of Bush’s speech, the Times noted: "The Congressional leaders steered clear of the Iraq war in their remarks before the speech." - That is, they "steered clear" of the central focus on the Bush administration’s tenure and the heart of Bush’s speech last night.

· Fitzgerald admits White House may have destroyed some emails relevant to CIA leak case - Meek added: "Fitzgerald, who is fighting Libby's request, said in a letter to Libby's lawyers that many e-mails from Cheney's office at the time of the Plame leak in 2003 have been deleted contrary to White House policy."

TVNL Comment: Production down...profits up? What is wrong with that picture?

9/11 News : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#911

· Looniest Of All 911 Conspiracy Theories - And as always, there is - sadly - a small but gullible percentage of the population eager to lap up these tall tales, regardless of facts or rational analysis. - One of the wilder stories circulating about September 11th - and one that has attracted something of a cult following amongst conspiracy buffs - is that it was carried out by nineteen fanatical Arab hijackers, masterminded by an evil genius named Osama bin Laden, with no apparent motivation other than that they 'hate our freedoms.'

· US Senate Candidate Sheeler (D - RI) - 'Impeach Bush!' - Carl Sheeler, 45, a Democrat, business owner and Marine Veteran is seeking Lincoln Chafee's seat as well as seeking to unseat "King George" for his violations of the US Constitution. Sheeler alleges that, among other things, he has lied to the public and damaged foreign relations and our Democracy. He expresses leadership is not always popular or a majority opinion, but no operson is above the law.

· Senate Panel Rebuffed on Documents on U.S. Spying - The Bush administration is rebuffing requests from members of the Senate Judiciary Committee for its classified legal opinions on President Bush's domestic spying program, setting up a confrontation in advance of a hearing scheduled for next week, administration and Congressional officials said Wednesday.
TVNL Comment: Bush to Congress: Piss off.

· Evangelicals Will Not Take Stand on Global Warming - The National Association of Evangelicals said yesterday that it has been unable to reach a consensus on global climate change and will not take a stand on the issue, disappointing environmentalists who had hoped that evangelical Christians would prod the Bush administration to soften its position on global warming.
TVNL Comment: What position are they talking about? Are they deciding if they support global warming? Fact: global warming existst. Fact: Global warming will kill a great deal of life on Earth. Fact: These people support a man who continues to promote policies that speed up global warming. What exactly is there to think about?

EDITORIAL : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#editorial

· Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid: Is History Repeating Itself? - What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, little by little, to being governed by surprise; to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security. And their sense of identification with _____, their trust in him, made it easier to widen this gap and reassured those who would otherwise have worried about it.
TVNL Comment:
Discovered AFTER today's blog was written!

· Welcome to America, Be Afraid, Be Very Very Afraid - Are people supposed to feel frightened because they ask questions and because they point out inaccuracies in the answers they receive?

· After last night, I am a man without a party - So there you have it. Democrats have joined the “faith and values” camp. If you believe in stuff that contradicts not just commonsense, but science as well, Democrats want you back and are willing to pretend they too see that six-foot tall white rabbit you say goes everywhere with you. Because faith is a powerful thing, and faith must be not just protected, but nurtured – nurtured into votes.

· A New Tape From Al Qaeda Surfaces as Does a New Tape of Kidnapped Jounalist Jill Carroll; ABC News Anchorman Bob Woodruff and His Cameraman Seriously Wounded Yesterday by a Roadside Bomb in Iraq - But the reason that the deaths and injuries of the American soldiers don't get as much publicity is because we are by and large banned from seeing it. - The United States government has made a decision that we are not allowed to see the coffins, that we're not allowed to see the burials, that we're generally not allowed to go to any of the areas where there are wounded, U.S. military hospitals.
