For all practical purposes it is safe to say that the reality portrayed by the establishment media bares little resemblance to the actual world in which we live. This is not theory but is documented reality that becomes clear to anyone who cares to pay attention. An easy way to think of this is that the people in the establishment media are holding up an orange for your viewing while telling you that it is an apple. Lies come in many forms: partial truths, selective facts, out-of-context quotes and information, partial historical perspective and outright misrepresentation of facts. It is easy to manipulate the public. Regulators in New Jersey awarded the rights on Friday for construction of a $1 billion offshore wind farm in the southern part of the state to Garden State Offshore Energy. 
Suniva, a startup based in Atlanta, has made solar cells that convert about 20 percent of the energy in the sunlight that falls on them into electricity. That's up from 17 percent for its previous solar cells and close to the efficiency of the best solar cells on the market. But unlike other high-efficiency silicon solar cells, says Ajeet Rohatgi, the company's founder and chief technology officer, Suniva's are made using low-cost methods. One such method is screen printing, a relatively cheap process much like the silk-screen process used to print T-shirts. 
Gasoline shortages hit towns across the southeastern United States this week, sparking panic buying, long lines and high prices at stations from the small towns of northeast Alabama to Charlotte in the wake of Hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
