Mayflower, AR, April 5: We spent most of the day chasing down reports of oil sightings and talking to residents.
We also found what appears to be the Pegasus pipeline itself, with a newly added clamp of some sort, unearthed and sitting in a pool of water. There are multiple pipelines in the area and we can’t absolutely verify that this is Pegasus, but we compared it to photos of other oil pipelines built in the 1940s and they are similar.
