An influential business group called on Congress Thursday to stop playing politics with federal budget deficits and put "everything on the table," declaring that both tax increases and spending cuts are needed to restore the nation's finances to health.

More than 100 current and former chief executive officers signed a declaration released by the Committee for Economic Development, a nonpartisan policy-research group of business and university leaders.

"To know means to believe based on sufficient evidence. So I know, not just believe, that 9/11 was a false-flag attack, that many individuals at or near the top of the US Executive Branch, military, and intelligence apparatus were complicit in the attack, and that the state of Israel and its American agents were heavily involved. This is the inescapable conclusion of anyone who reads David Ray Griffin's books on the subject, alongside Bollyn's Solving 9/11, with an open mind."

While the Justice Department is planning a military trial of accused 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and alleged co-conspirators, President Obama still says the proceedings should have taken place in New York City.

"I remain convinced we could have handled this in New York," Obama told the Associated Press in an interview. "We could have handled it in a normal court." Obama also told AP he would to close the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay where KSM and others are being held, but he did not make a firm commitment to do so.

A 9/11 lawsuit against former high officials in the Bush White House is being presided over by a cousin of former president George W. Bush – a shocking and blatant conflict of interest that should embarrass even believers in the official story.

George W. Bush’s cousin, Judge John M. Walker of the 2nd Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals, is part of a three-judge panel hearing the case of April Gallop vs. former vice-president Dick Cheney, former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Richard Myers.

For well over a year, civilian and military defense lawyers representing so-called "high-value detainees" at Guantanamo Bay were caught up in a secret Justice Department investigation. (The agency won't say whether the investigation is still ongoing.)

Can Guantanamo lawyers mount full and fair defenses of the 9/11 conspirators while under the pressures of a past or present DOJ investigation—and the threat of a future probe by the Pentagon itself, as some congressional Republicans have called for? We're about to find out.

On his MSNBC program Hardball this evening, Chris Matthews went on a well-founded  tirade against Donald Trump and his pandering to the uninformed, right wing Birthers who insist, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that Barack Obama is not an American.. Sadly, in doing so, he emerged once again as a gate keeper extraordinaire who trivializes and ridicules the near decade of research and discovery by members of the  9/11 Truth Movement.

In his attack against Donald Trump’s strategy of luring extreme right wing voters to back his possible run for president, Matthews claimed there was no difference between “Birthers” on the right and “Truthers’ on the left. Bullcrap, Chris.  Sheer, unadulterated bullcrap.
