Flynn's lawyer split from trumpLawyers for Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, have told Trump’s legal team they can no longer discuss the probe by a special counsel, indicating Flynn may be cooperating with the investigation, the New York Times reported on Thursday.

Flynn’s lawyer and a spokesman for Special Counsel Robert Mueller did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment on the Thanksgiving holiday. A representative for Trump’s legal team could not immediately be reached for comment.

Pro choice advocates win one in TexasA federal judge on Wednesday overturned Texas’ ban of a common second trimester abortion procedure, setting back the state's latest effort to limit abortion.

U.S. District Court Judge Lee Yeakel said that the ban on “dilation and evacuation” abortions, approved by the Texas Legislature in May, would force women seeking second trimester abortions to resort to riskier, invasive alternatives.

News of the departure of John Rogers came a day after U.S. President Donald Trump defended Moore from accusations by multiple women that Moore pursued them as teenagers when he was in his 30s, including one who has said he initiated a sexual encounter with her when she was 14.

Second Federal Judge Blocks Trump's Ban On Trans Service Members

Judge blocks ban on military transgender troops

A federal judge in Maryland has temporarily blocked all of President Trump's would-be ban on transgender Americans serving in the U.S. armed forces or receiving transition-related health care through the military.

The decision comes just weeks after another federal judge, based in Washington, D.C., blocked most of the policy change.

Last year, after extended study of the issue, the military announced that trans service members could sign up for the military, serve openly and receive medical care related to their transition. This summer, Trump announced on Twitter that the policy would be reversed, which was followed by an official memo.

3 missing after navy plane crash

Eight people were rescued and three remained missing after a U.S. Navy plane crashed into the western Pacific Ocean on Wednesday, the Navy said.

The C-2 "Greyhound" transport aircraft came down about 500 nautical miles (925 kilometers) southeast of Okinawa as it was bringing passengers and cargo from Japan to the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier, the Navy said in a statement.

During animated conversations with senior Republicans and White House aides, the president said he doubted the stories presented by Moore’s accusers and questioned why they were emerging now, just weeks before the election, according to two White House advisers and two other people familiar with the talks.

FCC to repeal all of net neutralityFederal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai will reveal plans to his fellow commissioners on Tuesday to fully dismantle the agency's Obama-era net neutrality regulations, people familiar with the plans said, in a major victory for the telecom industry in the long-running policy debate.

The commission will vote on the proposal in December, some seven months after it laid the groundwork for scuttling the rules that require internet service providers like Comcast or AT&T to treat web traffic equally.

Terry Glenn, former NFL wide receiver, dies in car accident in Texas

Terry Glenn dies in car crash
Former NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn has died after getting into a car accident Monday morning in Irving, Texas, according to police. He was 43.
The Irving Police Department said the crash occurred at 12:18 a.m. local time after Glenn, who was driving the car accompanied by a passenger, traveled off the eastbound lane at the 700 block of Highway 114 and crashed into a concrete barrier dividing the express lane from local lanes.
Glenn was ejected from the car and taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, where he died at 12:52 a.m., according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office.
