Terry Glenn, former NFL wide receiver, dies in car accident in Texas

Former NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn has died after getting into a car accident Monday morning in Irving, Texas, according to police. He was 43.

The Irving Police Department said the crash occurred at 12:18 a.m. local time after Glenn, who was driving the car accompanied by a passenger, traveled off the eastbound lane at the 700 block of Highway 114 and crashed into a concrete barrier dividing the express lane from local lanes.

Glenn was ejected from the car and taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, where he died at 12:52 a.m., according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office.

LeBron James : Kaepernick blackballed by NFL

LeBron James knows a thing or two about athletes, and as a former All-State wide receiver, he knows a thing or two about quarterbacks. The King talked to ESPN's Dave McMenamin and let it be known that he thinks the NFL is screwing over the former Pro-Bowler.

"I love football, but I'm not part of the NFL," James told ESPN following the Cleveland Cavaliers' practice Sunday. "I don't represent the NFL. I don't know their rules and regulations. But I do know Kap is getting a wrong doing. I do know that. Just watching, he's an NFL player. He's an NFL player and you see all these other quarterbacks out there and players out there that get all these second and third chances that are nowhere near as talented as him. It just feels like he's been blackballed out of the NFL. So, I definitely do not respect that."

Mueller requested DOJ hand over documents related to Comey firing: report

Special counsel Robert Mueller asked the Justice Department within the past month to turn over a wide array of documents as part of its ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, ABC News reported Sunday.

His team is particularly interested in materials that relate to Trump's dismissal of former FBI Director James Comey and Attorney General Jeff Sessions's decision to recuse himself from the Russia probe earlier this year, a source who was told about the request informed ABC News.

This will be Mueller's first records request to the Justice Department, the very agency that is overseeing the probe.

Keystone pipeline approved in Nebraska Nebraska regulators approved the Keystone XL pipeline Monday, clearing the last big regulatory hurdle for the controversial oil project after nearly a decade of bitter protests from environmentalists and landowners and delivering a win for President Donald Trump's drive for U.S. "energy dominance."

The Nebraska Public Service Commission voted 3-2 to approve the route through the state for the pipeline that will transport up to 830,000 barrels per day of crude from Canada's oil sands and North Dakota's shale fields to oil refineries on the Gulf Coast. Former President Barack Obama had blocked the permits for the pipeline in 2015, citing the oil sands' impact on climate change, but Trump quickly reversed that decision after taking office.

The Women's Tennis Association announced the passing of 1998 Wimbledon champion Jana Novotna. She was 49-years-old.

"It is with deep sadness that the WTA announces the passing on Sunday, November 19, of Jana Novotna, the former WTA World No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles champion," a WTA statement said. "After a long battle with cancer, Jana died peacefully, surrounded by her family in her native Czech Republic, aged 49."

The top nuclear commander in the U.S. said Saturday he would refuse an order to conduct a nuclear strike from President Trump if he thought the launch was illegal.

Air Force Gen. John Hyten, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, said at the Halifax International Security Forum in Halifax, Nova Scotia, that he would tell Trump he couldn’t carry out an illegal strike, CBS News reported.

AC/DC founder dies at 64

AC/DC co-founder Malcolm Young has died after a long battle with dementia. He was 64.

"Today it is with deep heartfelt sadness that AC/DC has to announce the passing of Malcolm Young," the band's official Facebook page said Saturday.

"Malcolm, along with Angus, was the founder and creator of AC/DC. With enormous dedication and commitment he was the driving force behind the band. As a guitarist, songwriter and visionary he was a perfectionist and a unique man. He always stuck to his guns and did and said exactly what he wanted. He took great pride in all that he endeavored. His loyalty to the fans was unsurpassed."

Moore did not preside over accuser's divorce case

At a press conference Wednesday afternoon, attorneys for Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore (R) attempted to refute sexual assault accusations made earlier this week by Beverly Young Nelson.

In addition to challenging the yearbook signature, attorney Phillip Jauregui also suggested Nelson was not credible because she said she had no contact with Moore. Jauregui claimed that Nelson had contact with Moore when he presided over her divorce case in 1999. The documentation of that divorce proceeding, however, undermines this claim.
